Special prayers (خاص عبادات) for the unity of Muslim Ummah and the progress (ترقی) and prosperity for the life and Hereafter are offered in mosques during the entire blessed night of 11th of Rabiul Awwal and all day long of 12th of Rabiul Awwal.
The beautiful “Barhween Sharif” ceremony programs are a distant memory like a lost dream for those ones gone abroad whereas in homeland this occasion is still the joist day of the year. People love getting ready for this day and do a lot of celebrating and praying on this day. They also do whatever they can to make their houses look beautiful and illuminating and up to the occasion. “Barhwee’n Sharif” meal is a big meal in everyone’s house. The main thing to be done now on Milad un Nabi’s eve is to pray that it passes peacefully and without any mishap.
This blessed occasion has such a unique specialty that people feel a profound (گہرا) spirituality (روحانیت) and bliss (روحانی مسرت) that brings live up their hearts and cheer up their faces no matter how sad they are and what kinds of trouble they are facing.
Government and private buildings and offices are also decorated (سجائی جاتی ہیں) beautifully (خوبصورتی سے) on the occasion (اس موقع پر). Processions (جلوس) are taken out in all major cities of the country. Participants ride on profusely decorated vehicles. Many were children who also wear Arabic dresses and rode on decorated horses and camels.
